A Possible Significant Turning Point in the Climate Scam

Something unique in the extensive history of the global warming/climate change scam occurred this week. The intended working class victims of the “green” climate campaign have rebelled in recent weeks and this week they achieved a major concession by the French Government. The Government has agreed to postpone a scheduled increase in the carbon tax as it had previously decided to do. This will not lower the tax paid primarily by the poorer and lower class working people, but at least the proposed tax increase will be postponed, most recently through 2019. The Wall Street Journal expresses my views very well in an editorial.

The leader of the revolt welcomed the Government’s concessions but said that “This is only a first step. The French do not wish to have just crumbs, like sparrows at the edge of a window in the middle of winter. We want the whole baguette. We are preparing for a political transition much more than an ecological transition.”

The climate-friendly US news media have done their best to try to disguise what is happening, but it is all too clear. Although there are many differences between the French and the US political systems, it is as if the liberal elite backers of climate “action” split from the working class and labor supporters of the Democratic Party and forced a Democratic Administration to end further hikes in a hypothetical carbon tax in the US.

This may be the future of climate change public policy in the US. If so, this may have been a significant change in the whole course of the climate change/global warming campaign in the US. It is about time. Imagine, the intended victims are fighting back after decades of propaganda in favor of “decarbonization.” I am not sure that a similar revolt would occur in the US since the US does not have a history of street demonstrations and unrest on taxation policies and energy prices. And the French situation is not currently applicable here because the Democratic Party lacks a majority in the Senate and does not control the Presidency. The split between the intellectuals and the working class groups on climate has long been clear here in the US, but it has not led to public unrest so far.

But it could happen elsewhere with a suitable history and an upset populace. So far the right wing of the Democratic Party has gone along with the left wing, which is the group pushing the climate scam, even though it is the right wing that is being primarily hit by the greatly increased fossil fuel prices, mainly in the “Blue” states. This is particularly the case in the “deep blue” coastal states that are firmly under the control of the Democratic Party. So such a rebellion is unlikely here anytime soon, but it is no longer inconceivable. Other nations may reduce their carbon taxes or decide not to implement them and and other “decarbonization” policies as a result.

Carbon is the second most common element in the human body. It is essential to ecological food chains. C02 enables plants to grow. Given the essentialiality of carbon, taxing it merely serves to raise money for governments. It does nothing useful for environmental quality. It is highly reasonable for working people to object to raising their costs for no justifiable reason.

there seem two main concurrent threats to the status quo. One is revolts against taxes, going on in France.

Yet the other threat seems even bigger. Porous borders, also making life harder for the poor. This is another globalist or internationalist cause that hurts legal citizens. It could produce further unrest across Europe.

Doctor Carlin, i like your suggestion of the unrest in France as a possible turning point.

France is central to the EU, but it’s president is very unpopular for pandering to the climate scam and socking it to the working poor via taxes. The unrest in France suggests the intellectual bankruptcy of the political status quo.

The only thing green about Renewable Green Energy is all the Carbon Dioxide from Fossil Fuels it requires to make them and deliver the energy to products that are made from Fossil Fuels and used Fossil Fuels Energy to create them. Every advancement in human history started with the discovery of Fire as Energy that moved from wood to coal to oil to derivatives of oil and natural gas that creates Steam to turn generators. Steam Engine’s powered electric generators, hydro-power Dams generators, nuclear Plants are steam driven generators and all the generators are made with metals mined with Fossil Fuels to their refined and formed metals and Fossil Fuels plastics and rubber used in them. Solar Cells, batteries, electronics, glass, plastics and metals all require Fossil Fuels in their manufacturing. Wind Generators all require the same Fossil Fuels for everything in them to the concrete foundation’s that all those above needed.

Green Renewable Energy is only Green because it requires Fossil Fuels today, by putting Carbon Dioxide into the Atmosphere that all Flora requires to photosynthesis into their cellular structures. The more Green Renewable Energy are devices made, along with direct combustion of Fossil Fuels Energy, the Greener Earth becomes to feed the exponentially increasing Fauna and the Carbon Cycle keeps pumping more Carbon Dioxide into the Environment. Of which the Earth itself along with all the Bio-Mass of flora and fauna contributes 99.95% of all Carbon Dioxide and all of Humans contributions are that 0.05% and that from Fossil Fuels is just 0.03% of humans contributions.

In other words… Governments are taxing us for contributions of just 0.03% of the 406 ppm of Carbon Dioxide in the Atmosphere….to say that they are doing something to prevent Global Warming and Climate Change in the Future…whilst they’re putting more Carbon Dioxide into the Atmosphere with their Green Renewable Energy Scam.

But the majority of the population has been brainwashed by this Scam, to think they’re able to prevent Global Warming and Climate Change.

The problem with ignorance is people don’t know they’re ignorant. Ignorance is cured by education.

I totally agree with you John.

There is just one thing – please stop calling hydrocarbons ‘fossil fuels’. This is another deception used to make them apppear finite. Hydrocarbons are a natural by-product of celestial bodies and are actually renewable. Oil reservoirs have been known to fill up again after being depleted. Hydrocarbons have been detected on other planets and moons.

Atmospheric CO2 had to have come before the dinosaurs and plants – not after.

Solar power uses Rare Earth Elements which are the opposite of ‘renewable’ because they are rare!

I challenge your statement that the US does not have a history of unrest or street demonstrations over taxation. One only has to look back in history to the “Boston Teaparty”.

The Federal government of France has to be relatively large. Confiscatory high tax rates. State owned enterprises. Tax breaks for insiders.
To make matters worse, France is imbedded within the sclerotic bureaucracy of the EU. And joined at the hip with Germany.

So The French economy and people suffer stifling regulations and taxes. Meanwhile illegals enter the country and claim services and lower wage rates.

The economic pressures on legal French citizens have to much worse than the US.

The result is anger from workers directed at the effete Chablis swilling vainglorious bureaucrats and the out of touch figurehead, macron.
