President Trump sent the following Twitter message on April 7 with regard to EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s performance:
- While Security spending was somewhat more than his predecessor, Scott Pruitt has received death threats because of his bold actions at EPA. Record clean Air & Water while saving USA Billions of Dollars. Rent was about market rate, travel expenses OK. Scott is doing a great job!
That would appear to put an end to the CIC’s recent effort to force Trump to fire Pruitt over minor ethical and personal expense issues they have raised concerning Pruitt. This outcome contrasts strongly with the resignation of Anne Gorsuch as EPA Administrator over allegations of alleged transgressions 30 years ago during the Reagan Administration. Ironically, Gorsuch’s son now sits on the Supreme Court.
President Trump clearly disagrees with the CIC allegations with regard to Pruitt and so do I, as explained last week. President Trump strongly supports Pruitt’s “bold” actions to reduce unjustified EPA regulations. The CIC will clearly have to find some other scheme to remove Pruitt and frustrate Trump’s deregulatory goals than by replaying the general tactics used to remove Gorsuch.
your web writings constitute a valuable record of historical significance as you teach about the absurd left wing assault upon the US economy, upon reason, and upon the environment. its welcome that there be soberly serious essays on the web about the travesty of climate change.
There are climate change comedians for instance and they have a great role to contribute too, because if something is profoundly false, it is mentally healthy to laugh at the scam.
But it’s nice too to have civilized essays to illume contentious topics. Matt Ridley does a great job with his essays, though is arguably a little too tolerant of the scam. i don’t know of a better US website for analytical discussion of the political narrative of climate change.
Lively times within the Swamp. Looking forward to your next illuminating essay.
Doc, I hope the Boss dispenses with Rosenstein soon.
By Twitter.
Rosenstein Has to be the worst attorney general in us history. First he recommended firing Comey, then thinks there needed to be a special prosecutor to investigate why Comey got fired. Rosenstein was hopelessly muddled. He naively lapped up the Steele dossier FBI hoodwink of Crooked Hillary and Cheating Obama.
Finally he has disrespected the Boss. Don’t know if it will be today or tomorrow, but Rosenstein is an utter loser like Comey and McCabe.
Doc, it’s wonderful you and the Boss are so calm and collected.
Far far outside the Beltway, Just Beau has been sharpening his pitch fork, just in case.
